Cincinnati rookie outfielder Jay Bruce is traveling with a stack of color action photographs of former teammate Adam Dunn. Really.
“I’m absolutely going to miss Dunn, even more so than Ken Griffey,” said Bruce, who had the photos on a shelf of his locker in the Pittsburgh clubhouse,the Reds’ first stop last week after Dunn was sent to the D-Backs.
“We had a relationship before I got to the big leagues, working out together in Texas during the offseason, and he worked his tail off. We’re still going to be friends, but this place is a lot different now.”
